about
Surnames disappear for good quite naturally all the time, we usually don't even notice. It's rare that society takes a role in deeming a name so shameful and despicable that its descendants are forced to discontinue passing it on. When institutions fail to hold a destructive leader to account, when society has been harmed beyond recompense, the collective shaming of the perpetrator's name, a curse essentially, may be the most powerful recourse.
lyrics
In the Tomorrow days,
His name be an expletive,
His name will evoke Godwin’s Law,
His name will invite low humor and ridicule,
His name will remember wee ones in cages,
His name will equate with ruined lives,
His name will stand for corruption and greed,
His name will condone rapes and perversions,
His name will be shouted by the trash left behind,
His name will infect all his descendants,
His name will be in perpetual penury,
His name will be one with racism,
His name will endure as the basest in human character,
His name will embody treachery and perfidy,
His name will be anathema to truth,
His name will be removed from visibility,
His name will symbolize the absence of good,
His name will remind of pestilence and death,
His name will be synonym for malevolent negligence,
His name will be tied to walls and division,
His name will be the name for losers,
His name will instill shame on our nation,
His name will be purged from our politics but not from our history,
His name will arouse humiliation in our neighbors,
His name will destroy religion,
In the Tomorrow days,
His name will be extinct.
